Hi Mary Sue,

Like Cathy, I use homemade cages. Crocus cages are made from 1/2" to 1" hog fencing, tulips, lilies and the like get chicken wire. The cages have enough depth, that, should the bulbs move deeper, they will still be in the container. Get yourself a pair of comfortable gloves, and some good wirecutters, and the work goes fairly quickly. Make a few cages, plant a few bulbs, make a few cages, plant a few bulbs.
