Tropaeolum tricolor

Dear Robin and All:

I have three or four different versions of T. tricolor. One is very
different in color, being more of a pale orange with a yellow mouth. It is
very different from the others. The others seem to vary mostly in when they
grow, sprouting at somewhat different times under the same conditions. All
except one of the standard kinds were grown from Watson & Flores seed.

I have one lonely tuber of T. azureum, which will only sprout every other
year. It blooms profusely when it does grow. I read somewhere (I think it
was in one of Christopher Lloyd's books) of a similar experience with T.
azureum.

Diana
