"Tender" bulbs in cold Climes

Jim, 
Many of them are marginal at best and tender is the
best word. Some, such as the Crinum powellii and
Lycoris are of course hardy by L. radiata is somewhat
tender I think and should be mentioned. 
I really was suprised that the Tritonia and Agapanthus
overwintered. As I said, this winter will be a true
test. 
The garden is technically z5a but has been more like a
z6b the last few winters and we shall see.
