Apparently HH. non-scripta and hispanica cross-pollinate. This happens in
the fields of Dutch growers, and stock sold as non-scripta is really the
more vigorous hybrid. More critical, in my opinion, is that the same
cross-pollination is reported as occurring in England, with garden-grown H.
hispanica and wild populations of H. non-scripta.

Judy in New Jersey where the last 7 days have taken us from 15° F. and 14
inches of snow to temperatures in the 50s and lots of rain (but not the
deluge that Lauw has suffered with.)
