Tulbaghia x Narcissus

Dear All,
This is very important to me.

I have just been sent the following message.

>>>>I heard a rumor someone up farther north in California was doing active
breeding with T. fragrans x Narcissus sp., with results, the thought being
since they are both cupped amaryllidaceae.

Can anyone substantiate this, it would seem an incredible claim, but one
that is very credible especially when Tulbaghia are n=6 and some Narcissus
n=24. Farther north in CA means farther north than Monterey Bay.

Obviously, the person responsible may wish to remain anonymous, but if
anyone can help and would like to e-mail me privately, please send a message
too crocosmia@blueyonder.co.uk

Similarly, does anyone know any n=24 Narcissus.

Many Thanks,
Dave (Plymouth, UK)
