Hello There are a few winter-growing populations of B. disticha, although most of the plants in cultivation are summer-growing forms. There is a hill just above Rivierzonderend with Gladiolus emiliae (with the most beautiful scent) growing on the south facing cooler slopes and B. disticha on the hotter northern slopes.
