Mystery Romulea

I have posted a picture of Romulea nivalis.

and added this to the Romulea page.  My first impression of Mary Sues
mystery Romulea was that it might be this species which has
distinctive upright habit and small rather starry flowers.  The plant
in the image posted is a good form with rather strongly coloured
flowers.  A picture on p31 of Bulbs by Rix and Phillips is closer to
the mystery plant.

BTW if you are thinking of throwing it out - you can pass a few my
way!
