I agree with all of what has been said on this topic so far and would like to add recommendations: PBS member Kelly Irvin's Bulbmeister.com (http://www.bulbmeister.com/) which I mentioned a couple of weeks ago - good prices, friendly service, good selection, high quality material. Another bulb purveyor worth mentioning is Russell Stafford's Odyssey Bulbs. (http://www.odysseybulbs.com/) An ever expanding selection including many crocus and colchicums. Good stuff! Don't know if anyone has mentioned Chilterns. Again, very good, fast service. When my credit card was declined because the exp date was wrong, they sent the seeds anyway. Online orders take only a week to arrive sometimes. And seeds which arrived a week ago (herbs, not bulbs) are germinating already! And to say something good about the Archibalds, I have ordered from them many times and have been pleased with the service. Same with Flores and Watson, though I did not receive their list this year.
