Hi all,

I live in zone 5 going on 6. For cold climates, my favorite shade plants
would be various Dicentra, Trillium, especially T. recurvatum, and perhaps
Arisaema sikokianum and relatives. Take your picks in those genera.

For warm climates, like my greenhouse, I like Clivia first and foremost,
but put with it Crinum moorei, Scadoxus of all sorts (multiflorus
katherinae and puniceus at the top), and of course little old Haemanthus
albiflos.

Gee, that is two lists! Something for every climate.
