Douglas It is a major problem when there is a need to buy an external hard drive to move them to. I save my images in four sizes. Original, 800 pixels wide for desktop wallpaper, 600 pixels wide for web sites and 160 pixels wide for thumbnails. All images are saved in folders for each month of the year e.g. I'm working on 1103 and will add 1203 next week. Each folder has subfolders if I go anywhere to take photos. I also have folders for plant species e.g. hardy Geraniums and Galanthus. Mark
