I regret to report that the stock of Crocus medius that I thought was virus-free has now started showing some streaking of the flowers. I distributed some of this this past summer. I suggest that anyone who has it remove it from collections of crocuses that the virus may threaten. If you have it in the garden along with crocuses obtained from commercial sources, you probably can leave it there, because the virus is no doubt present already.
