I tried them a few years ago.  They bloomed magnificently in spring the
first year.  Since then they've put up a little foliage in fall.  I can't
decide if they're digging down to a deeper level or dwindling.

In any case, I've seen no sign of bloom since the first year, and the
foliage remains on a winter cycle.  It burns off during the freezing
winter and reappears in spring.

In fact, it may be among last winter's casualties.  I'll be interested to
see if it emerges this time around.
