I have L. sprengeri here in Northern New Jersey and it did take two
years for it to settle in. I believe that it may have even not appeared
the first year above ground. It is located in a damp spot near some
species lilies and a cardiocrinum that have nurturing along for three
years. Gets three to four hours of sun per day.
