dahlia monoculture fix?

I have only one dahlia, but I don't mind disturbing my other bulbs when I dig it up (before frost, around October 1st).

Most likely I disturb tulips, daffodils and scilla siberica, but I just push extra bulbs back into the ground (I also have clay silt loam).

Stop the rototilling - that's your problem. Kills the rainworms and any extra bulbs.
