But is Homeland Security also hooked into the Amazon computer? I'll bet
that's why Carolyn was being "surveiled".

Subject: [pbs] Bulbophiles' Extracurricular Plant Hobby?

Are you guys into an extracurricular plant hobby I didn't know about?

About 4 years ago I purchased a number of bulb related books from
Amazon.com.
You know how their computers keep track of what everyone purchases and
sometimes send out emails suggesting some new book that is becoming
available that their software algorithms think you might be interested
in?
Well, this morning I received this suggestion email:

Dear Amazon.com Customer,

We've noticed that customers who have purchased Bulbs for All Seasons
by Pierre Gingras also purchased books by S. T. Oner. For this reason,
you might like to know that S. T. Oner's Marijuana Outdoor Grower's
Guide will be released in paperback soon. You can pre-order your copy
at a savings of 32% by following the link below.

Marijuana Outdoor Grower's Guide
<http://amazon.com/gp/product/…
-5143748-5102234?n=283155>
  S. T. Oner
Price: $10.17
You Save: $4.78(32%)
(January 9, 2006)

Anyway, I found it an interesting suggestion to say the least!
:-)
