Dear Mary Sue:

I think Uli63 is O. compressa, and Uli76 is O. livida. The bulb of O.
livida is light colored, hard, no loose tunics and is somewhat beaked. My
O. livida has umbels of brilliant magenta rose flowers held on tall stems,
about 8-10 inches. It is very difficult to photograph, both because of the
leaf color and because of the very tall stems.
