Hi:
I think it was in the movie "Tremors" that the villain monsters were
dubbed "graboids".
Bulboid or bulbiform (?) plants would be those like Dietes,
Anigozanthos, Neomarica, Trimezia, Rohdea, Convallaria, Doryanthes,
Beschorneria, Tulbaghia, Agapanthus, and a lot others that look like
geophytes but aren't.
