Thanks, John, your remarks are encouraging. After posting my comments, I went back and took a careful look at my supplier's illustration. If I look carefully, I do see green tips to the flowers, although the inflorescence overall is rather compact. I also note that Martin Phillipo's family were pioneers figuring out what it takes to market forced Muscari. Perhaps the "stretched-out" example seen on Martin's site had been forced.
