Hi all, I know they aren't terrible rare or unusual but I had an interesting experience with Lachenalia rubida. My only pot simply failed to show up! All the other lachenalia have been up for some time, and I've been patiently waiting. Nothing. Finally this afternoon, I stirred the potting mix a bit with my index finger and....it caved in like a sink hole. Nothing there. VANISHED! Initial suspicion was that a mouse had made off with the bulbs, but they usually leave a tell-tale hole where they've been digging. The top of this pot looked untouched. Any ideas??? Carlo Carlo A.
