I've added another image of Iris unguicularis to the wiki. This image gives
a good idea of the size of these blossoms. Take a look at:

http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/…

This is the first time this species has bloomed for me. Many years ago I
grew it, but every time it started to bloom we had a severe cold spell which
destroyed the buds.

I'm really impressed with the size of the flowers: I expected something
smaller.

While you are looking at this image of Iris unguicularis, scroll up a bit
and compare the image of Iris brevicaulis: they're a lot alike, aren't they?
