Last winter I started about 6 different Codonopsis species from seed. Germination was good and growth seemed adequate. When they were about an inch tall I transplanted the seedlings into two inch deep pots. They grew for a short while and then began to go dormant. This was March to April. I tried to get them going again but over the summer, every single one rotted or died somehow. They were all grown in bright shade. Assuming that I will get the opportunity to try again, what should I do. I can't seem to find good cultural info anywhere, at least for seedlings. Richard Vista, CA
