No, I planted them probably in January in the ordinary way, just leaving 
them out on my deck, which is roofed but not enclosed. Sometimes when you 
plant crocus seeds later in the year, rather than in fall, they germinate 
in early summer instead of winter, or even the following year, but I didn;t 
record whether this happened in this case.
