Dear all, Here in Arizona we have Echeandia flavescens (formerly Anthericum torreyi) which has large (for its size) tuberous roots. It's a monsoon bloomer, sprinkling the mid-elevation grasslands with amber flowers in July and August. Shawn Pollard Yuma, AZ
