Mary Sue is one of the kindest, most generous, sharing and knowledgeable
individuals it has been my good fortune to meet and correspond with. She
has always answered by requests for help and her knowledge of geophytes
is legendary.

My current circumstances do not permit me to tour South Africa and other
areas of geophytic biodiversity but her emails and the wonderful habitat
images she shares with us on the PBSwiki ensure that I at least get some
insight into these areas - granted after viewing them I am
photosynthetically active (green) with envy - but they significantly
enrich my life.

In a similar way a house full of teenagers and working parents north of
Chicago is not an ideal environment to try to grow non-hardy geophytes.
Again, the images posted to the wiki from the plants grown by Mary Sue
(and all of the other contributors) fill that void and have often been
forwarded to the horticulture staff at CBG as inspiration.

Frankly, I don't know how she finds time in a normal day to contribute
everything she does ... I am simply grateful.
