Hippeastrum miniatum

Dear Doug:
I was waiting for your message in which you were going to teach me how to obtain seeds from a single clone. Have you distributed all of your miniatum offsets? I do not have this species currently and am interested in it.
If you see an image of puniceum, which other species does it remind you? A neighbor has a species that is very robust and that is puniceus by all means; it behaves like a species, produces good seed and a few offsets but I do not want to try bulbs for fear of virus infection. I had a small lawn of its seed but during my year bedridden (2004) this was among those species that were lost. Impossible to trace its origin.

Best wishes
