California doesn't count, Jim. I still have an alstroemeria or 3 showing rich colors, Crinum, too...cooler weather helps with color and longevity...no frosts

Roy, Davis, CA
hot summers usually mild winters, but not this past January (coldest average on record)

Dear Friends,
We have had a couple of hard frosts and the garden is about done.

Just curious who has some last flowers lingering.

The Galanthus reginae-olga are faded, as are the last Crocus
banaticus and C. sativus.

Some winter bulbs in the greenhouse are showing up, but not much
 else.

Before the dreary season hits, anyone have a ray of color in
the garden?

            Inspire me !! Jim W.
