Dear All: I'm alway's intrigued by the messages from the Amaryllis Study Group. ...they are rather incomplete. Consider the one we received yesterday - it has no descriptive title, so I'm not sure if this is a listing of clubs in a certain region that are having a talk on amaryllis, or if the clubs are wanting a speaker. Another odd thing is that there is never a person's name associated with these messages. We'd all like to hear more about the many sorts of bulbs mentioned in the notices....Cynthia Mueller, College Station TX

Dear Friends,
I don't think this topic has been discussed before - The
Amaryllis Study Group.
Honestly I don't know much about it myself other than an
occasional email and news.

The contact email is <amstgrp@yahoo.com>.

The most recent email yesterday listed 4 symposia in
Jacksonville, St. Petersburg, Rainbow Springs , Del Rey Beach and
Oldmar Florida just in the first three weeks of December.

and the intriguing note:

"It is now within everyone's ability to bring amaryllis into
bloom any week of the year."

Anyone else interested in this or can tell more?

Best Jim W.
