Hello all,
It appears a status report is in process,
I am in Silver Spring Maryland and new to the group.
In our garden the various Colchicums emerged early this year.
Lycoris radiata was also early but did very well through the heat and
bloomed in the light shade nicely,
but dropped quickly in the heat.
Contrasted with my neighbor's 25 year old stand which is in very deep
shade was almost perfect.
Saffron crocus is very late, I'm usually harvesting by early October
and they
just emerged this week in concurrence with the breaking of our indian

Time to plant spring bulbs, garlic and shallots.
