I'd guess that it is therefore winter-growing.  This is a new one to me.  I 
found Rhadamanthus demoted to part of Drimia, in "The Color Encyclopedia of 
Cape Bulbs" by Manning, Goldblatt, and Snijman, but I didn't find 
Rhadamanthopsis in the books I have handy.
