Hiya, The question about coir jolted my brain and made me remember a question I had about potting mix for bulbs. I have a lot of young Glads, Moraea, Babiana etc. that will need to be potted up this next summer in their next dormant period. I know everyone has their favorite potting mix, though my question is one of layers. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is any advantage to using the potting mix only in the lower part of the container.
