Hi Doug There is a difference in nuclear DNA content between S howardii (diploid, as tested from J Shields plant) and S formossisima (tetraploid and hexaploid) So just send me a fresh leaf of both the parent and the seedling and I will tell you wether or not you seedlings are true or hybrids
