Bonjour Lauw,

First let me aknowledge the receipt of the packet you sent me a few days ago... very nice plants indeed that will be planted soon... (for the other member of the list I shall tell that I have known Lauw for many years and that quite a lot of the bulbs in my garden originates from his nursery)...

I will certainly in a fortcomming mail list all the summer bulbs I have here (Eucomis, Gladiolus, Dietes, among others)...

For the time being I will concentrate on the spring growers. All Tulips are showing up at the moment and this includes T. acuminata, T. linifolia, T. tarda, T. sylvestris, T. humilis, T. turkestanica and T. vvedenskyi. Narcissus bulbidodium should start to bloom pretty soon as well...

Among the Iris - I. inguicularis is still in flower (started mid-January) and all other species (that I will list in a separate mail) are showing new growth. I believe that the next to bloom will be I. aucheri and I. bucharicha if I compare to my records of previous years...

Hope to see you soon at Fourques or some plant fair...

Take care,

Luc
