I was googling for pictures of some of Silverhill's current seed
offerings, and discovered Aluka, a digital library of "scholarly
primary and supporting materials" about and from Africa.

I am currently looking through 72 screenfuls of paintings of Gladiolus
that are from the South African National Biodiversity Institute, Cape
Town, South Africa and have been digitized recently. There are 20
species per screen, and of course each picture needs to be made larger
and all the data read. I'm on screen 3.

I think Aluka is new. It is free until June 30, so now is a good
chance to see what they offer.
