Pancratium illyricum should be the hardiest of the genus, it growing cycle is quite short indeed, leafing out in late March (here in zone 9b) and withering in late June, so the bulbs don't increase so much ever year. I have raised many from seed and after some years they are still very small. Anyway, even P. matitimum and canariense are quite slow from seed.
