Get ahold of the Southwest Native Seeds catalog; it has many native geophytes that will do well in Prescott. (If you're nice, I might give you all my native Allium cernuum; I don't think they'll survive outdoors here in the summer.) The Native American Seed and Alplains catalogs also have good stuff for the Prescott area. AND, the high desert of Arizona is a great place for iris because it's dry and cold.
