Merendera sobolifera

I mentioned Merendera sobolifera and its peculiar floral construction in several recent posts. I’ve added three images of Merendera sobolifera to the wiki this afternoon. These show the unusual corm, the peculiar, tenuous, elongated tepals and the “hooks” which hold the tepals together at the waist (arcane botanical term) of the flower.
