This looks like the max Colchicum display weekend here in Northern New Jersey as well. Some of the labels have migrated or been lost. The large flowering varieties like C. Rosy Dawn and C. Dick Trotter are especially attractive. We haven't any rain so the slug and beaten down effect has been minimal. I may try to cut a few and see how long they hold up in a vase of water. Arnold
