Here in Glenview, (Chicago suburb) A tall Tricyrti(formosana) is blooming,
hostas are about at midseason, my lycoris aurea var. surgens from Kelly just
frinished and may be setting seed by squamigera. But Gladiolus 'Boone' is
flowering after it's first winter--and looking pretty snazzy.
I'd hoped to see my Hymenocallis occidentalises in flower , but I guess
they're not big enough yet-- maybe next year. A Zantedeschia (hybrid) which
I thought was an elliottiana hybrid may not be because of the really dark
spot in its throat--and is more likely from albomaculata. No other
geophytes.
