The professionally trained horticulturists I referred to in an earlier message 
underwent several years of full-time training, with lots of hands-on 
experience. Perhaps that's the most fundamental objection to the MG programs: 
it's book learning (or so it appears), not practical knowledge. As we all know, 
there's a wide gulf between what the books say and what the plants do!
