Thank you Iain

For general information, we are allowed to have seed sent to us as long
as it is on the bio-security site, which is:

http://www1.maf.govt.nz/cgi-bin/bioindex/…

I just put Iris in the Genus box and press "Enter".

However, as my knowledge on Irises is minimal, I have no idea which of
the many Irises which come up, are Japanese Irises, if any.

This is just another learning curve. ;o)

And thank you Jim for that very nice tale, I am definitely going to have
some of these. Am sold on the one I have got.

Ina Auckland NZ where it is 23 degrees C And lovely and sunny

Ina we just might be able to help from Auchgourish BG where we have a
large collection of Iris species but I have a feeling that there are
strict import regulations for seed material into NZ.

Can you clarify this Ina?

Regards, Iain
