Candy Lilies

Well, this explains why my candy lilies didn't flower and then
disappeared. They were planted among primroses, erythroniums and
trilliums, and of course, ferns, which grow everywhere, even in the
vegetable garden. Any plants that need sunshine get planted next to
the road where they are able to get morning sun during the summer. I
guess I could try some there.
