Terrible Fires in Australia

Howdy everyone.

(I have posted this to a couple of lists, so I apologise for
duplicates that some people may receive)

Just wishing those here on the list from the fire affected areas in
Victoria, Australia all the best. Current reports are (so far) of 65
dead, more than 700 houses gone, with complete towns wiped off the
map. I hope that no-one from our list or known to anyone from the
list has been affected too badly. My thoughts are with those in the
area, as well as those in New South Wales now affected by fires as
well. Given that Australia was officially forecast as the hottest
place on the planet this weekend (it hit around 48'C in both the west
of both the states I have mentioned) it is hardly surprising that
fires have appeared. They are even more dreadful because so many of
them were deliberately started, even today there was someone going
through and restarting fires in areas that they had just been put out.

All the best everyone.

Cheers.
