No surplus sale this year

Hello all,

Having received a couple of inquiries in the past few days, I thought
I would announce that I won't be holding a surplus bulb sale this
year. I'm working long hours and also trying to get my property in
shape to put on the market, and I just don't have time.

I'm certainly not going to give up growing bulbs, but the
distribution aspect of it will switch next year to the BX and NARGS
seed exchange, and after a year or two much of my collection will be
available from a small Oregon nursery with which I'm trying to share
everything of which I have more than three bulbs.

Thanks to all of you who have bought bulbs in the past -- I hope they
have brought you a lot of interest and pleasure, and I love hearing
that they've done well in far-away gardens. This is the best way to
avoid being trapped by the "white list": sharing whatever we have
acquired in the past and making sure it is firmly in cultivation in
our well-guarded country.
