Two onion notes

A. obliquum is blooming here also.  One thing Jim didn't mention is 
that its native range includes Siberia, which speaks to its 
cold-hardiness.  Chicago Botanical Garden for one has thriving 
colonies.  Its foliage is also relatively persistent for an 
onion.  All in all, a highly garden-worthy plant.

It rarely sells as well as it should.  This is a hint.
