Fiction Authors Get It Wrong

Oh, come on folks! What about "willing suspension of disbelief"--a  
pretty necessary attribute for any consumer of fiction. Without some  
(sometimes really out there) artistic license, much of what we regard  
as entertainment wouldn't exist.

Picking out wrong plants and birds is half the fun. Does anyone think  
Tarzan would have gotten made if if HAD to be filmed in Africa for  
total fidelity (and who says E.R.B. was right in the books anyway...).
