Survey of Flowers Blooming for the Holidays

Neil and all,

I wonder how widespread in the world the combination of amaryllis and 
poinsettias might be for the holidays?  I'm going out and check some 
florists shops around here myself, to see if they have anything more than 
that to offer for the season.
