Jane: I believe Boophone grows in Namibia. Interesting the comment about the fog. The leaves of Boophone are perfectly suited to collect dew and allow it to drip to the base of the plant. Could be a evolutionary adaptation to growing in fog deserts. Arnold Coastal New jersey
