What is a Mediterranean climate?

Mike,

That represents a lot of work!  I'm very impressed with the labor that must 
have gone into those maps.

I think it absolutely appropriate for any site dedicated to growing plants 
of the world around the world.

Now I'll need some time to digest all that information.
