Joshua - just for clarification - in order to import from overseas you need
an import permit, and the seller will have to obtain a phytosanitary
certificate. It is indeed "too much work" for a seller to supply one or a
few items legally (unless they're rare and therefore pricey).

Anyway, as I suggested in my previous note, Lifestyle Seeds sells seed of
same, and they're easy warm germinators. Sure, it takes years to raise a
bulb from seed to flowering size, but when the magic moment arrives it is
IMMENSELY satisfying!
