Dear All,

The items listed below have been donated by our members to be
shared.
If you are interested in obtaining some of them, please email me PRIVATELY

Specify the NUMBERS of the items which you would like; do not
specify quantities (except for this offering's colchicums). It is a good
idea to include your snail mail address, too, in case I don't already have
it. Availability is based on a first come, first served system. When you
receive your seeds/bulbs you will find, included with them, a statement of
how much money (usually $2.00/item) (cash, check, or Pay Pal to
<Arnold140@verizon.net>; no money orders,
please) you should send to the PBS treasurer to defray our costs for packing
and first-class, priority-mail, or international postage.

PLEASE NOTE: CURRENT POSTAL-RATE SCHEMES NECESSITATE OUR PLACING A
SURCHARGE ON EACH ORDER FROM PBS BX OFFERINGS.

members of the Pacific Bulb Society. THIS BX OFFERING IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO
MEMBERS OF THE PBS. Consider joining the PBS so that you can take advantage

From Mary Sue Ittner:

BULBLETS/CORMLETS:

1. Freesia fucata, blooms in late fall, early winter for me, white flowers
2. Lachenalia aloides var. quadricolor - bulblets, winter growing
3. Moraea sisyrinchium - Mediterranean species with short lived flowers in
winter
4. Ornithogalum osymynellum, bulblets
5. Oxalis commutata - South Africa, winter growing, fall blooming, tiny
succulent leaves and lavender-pink flowers with a strong scent like talcum
powder.
6. Oxalis flava (mostly pink) - originally from Telos as pink, but also
sometimes produces yellow flowers, fall blooming
7. Oxalis hirta - fall blooming, pink flowers, does well for me in deep pot
8. Oxalis hirta 'Gothenburg' - larger pink flowers, larger leaves, and
larger bulbs, fall blooming
9. Oxalis melanosticta 'Ken Aslet'- soft hairy gray leaves, yellow flowers,
has a reputation for not blooming, but I'm finally getting mine to bloom in
fall in deep pots
10. Oxalis namaquana (Uli 54) - originally from Uli, bright yellow, although
this is from dry areas, it is found in mass in wet places in those areas so
may appreciate extra water, produces lots of small bulbs. It bloomed really
well last year when we had extra rain.
11. Oxalis obtusa (coral)
12. Oxalis peridicaria, syn. O. lobata - South American species with pretty
yellow flowers late fall
13. Oxalis polyphylla var heptaphylla MV6396 Vanrhynsdorp. Succulent
thread-like leaves. Winter growing, blooms fall
14. Tritonia lineata - this is a summer rainfall Tritonia, white, blooming
in late spring, but doesn't seem very happy in my winter rainfall climate so
I'm giving all of them away
15. Tulipa batalini - smaller size bulbs of this beautiful yellow tulip

From Arnold Trachtenberg:

PLEASE NOTE: These bulbs are especially valuable, so they cost $3.50
apiece. You may order a maximum of three bulbs per species. Photos of both
can be found on the PBS wiki.

16. Colchicum umbrosum, 2 - 3 cm dia
17. Colchicum speciosum, 2 - 4 cm dia

Thank you, Mary Sue and Arnold !!

Best wishes,
Dell
